Sheriff Andy Street convened the meeting at 7:10 p.m.
Treasurer’s Report:
The club account is still about the same as last month. We received $400 for New Richland event and spent a little over $400 for hats and/shirts. The balance is approximately $1,300. Jody will give a more accurate accounting at the next meeting after the deposits are made from the hat sales.
Safety Report:
There was no safety officer present, but no one had any safety issues.
Old business:
We discussed the Little Log House Event. Again, everyone thought it was a great success.
The Hastings golf course event was called off (they felt the cost was too much for a couple of scenarios).
New business:
Hud was contacted from representatives of Mabel Minnesota to have us come to do a one-day gig on Sept 8-9. We would need 8-10 people to have a good show. Hud, Andy, Mike & Lori, maybe Rose and the Lopez’s have said they could do it. CONTACT HUD TO CONFIRM IF YOU WILL BE ATTENDING.
Harvestfest of River Falls Wisconsin has invited us back for their event on Aug 24th – 26th. We would perform on the 25th. Gordy will coordinate the details. CONTAT GORDY IF YOU WILL BE ATTENDING.
Spirit of The West was discussed as a good event to attend. It is the 3rd weekend in September. For more information look at their website at: www.spiritofthewestfestival.com. This event is very similar to the Wild West Roundup in Dundas. CONTACT DAKOTA ROSE IF YOU WILL BE ATTENDING.
Meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
