Events for next year: Returning to Waseca in February was discussed, and there was strong sentiment expressed to participate in the event again, especially since the Waseca folks seem to want us back. Members present were unsure about participating in the Cutter Parade in Kenyon, also held in February. The club does not get paid for that event, but the free meal is nice.
Entertainment for the Holiday Party: Jody encouraged all members to come up with ideas for entertainment or to volunteer to participate in the entertainment for the Holiday Party. She will send out to all members soon an e-mail soliciting ideas and seeking volunteers for skits and other forms of entertainment at the party.
Dale Jones Award: Gordy and Jody talked a little about the Dale Jones Award. This award recognizes extraordinary contributions by a COWS member over the course of several years. The Posse chooses the recipient, and the award is presented at the Holiday Party.
Ideas for future reenactment skits: Members present talked about some new ideas to try for future reenactments, and this discussion continued after the meeting was formally adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
