Jody gave the treasurer's report - we have paid for the website, more ammo, and flyers for the season. Our balance as of July 1 is $1,755.76.
Mike gave the safety report - Lots of people still haven't done the safety session yet. You will need to do this prior to the participating in the shows. Mike will offer a session during the Little Log House Antique Power Show in Hastings.
Everyone that was at the Wild West Roundup June 10-11 did good, and had a great time. We didn't have any safety violations. Jody thanked everyone for participating and hope that we will be excited about participating again next year. The Wild West Roundup coordinators gave COWS a check for $50 toward expenses.
We will NOT be participating in Rivertown Days in Hastings because they don't have enough funds to support us.
Rick talked about the upcoming event in Root River. If you are planning to be there let him know. The schedule is as follows:
Sunday, July 16 - Root River Antique Power Show, Spring Valley, MN - 9:45am + 12:15pm + 12:45pm + 2:00pm
The schedule for Little Log House Antique Power Show in Hastings, MN July 29-30 will be 10:30am-post office robbery, 1:00pm-depot prisoner escape, 2:00pm-bounty hunter at depot, 3:00pm-renegade at jail. Saturday only 4:00pm-Bordello scene. We will have a Pot Luck at the Cowboy Cabin on Saturday evening. Bring a non-perishble dish to pass and your own beverages. COWS will purchase the meat.
Jody and Mary Tulp are putting on a "Roundup Kids Ranch" at the Little Log House Show. Everyone is welcome to help out inbetween the scenarios. They can use some whip cracking, lasso artist, and other activities that would be appropriate for the Kids. There will be no formal schedule. Contact Jody if you want to set up in the Living History Encampment.
